OAKLAND, CA
Cote West is know for its unique blend of traditional burgundian winemaking techniques and selection of only the tastiest California grapes, and this urban tasting room is part west coast cool and part French vintage.
The industrial chic bar is situated across from the entry to welcome guests into the space. A variety of seating areas are provided — bar, living room and individual chairs — so guests can tailor their visit to their mood as well as allow for a different vibe during future visits. A vintage sofa, modern chairs and industrial stools reinforce the eclectic tasting room design.
The existing brick wall is flanked by two complementary full-wall installations, one vintage wallpaper and the other an industrial metal mesh installation. Custom oversized metal wine barrel hoop light fixtures fill the volume and a petrified vine in a raised golden pot becomes a signature art piece.
